We are seeking a Global Quality Director to develop and manage the Sensience Quality Management System (QMS) to drive sustained improvements in customer quality and control the cost of quality metrics. This role will ensure we are controlling and complying with all quality systems standards to achieve and sustain required certifications and customer satisfaction for Sensience. Position Responsibilities
Serve as Executive Quality Representative globally Collaborate with Executive Leadership Team, Plant Managers, Operations Managers, and other key leaders to achieve targeted KPI performance and drive strategic decisions Develop and deploy Quality Management System (QMS) founded on process standardization, cross-functional team engagement and ownership and accountability to provide satisfactory service levels to external customers and internal stakeholders. Support with defined policies and procedures Develop quality strategies and transformation plans to ensure compliance of processes, systems, operational capabilities, and certifications to support customer and market requirements Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork, collaboration, and working effectively with cross-functional partners to solve problems Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, providing insight into schedule, performance, and budget adherence Manage and maintain top quality certifications i.e., IATF Certification Work closely with new product launches to generate proper procedures and assure proper tools, equipment, and capabilities are in place to maintain a high level of quality and reliability Evaluate, audit, and manage compliance to Quality Policies and Procedures at all facilities Coordinate and conduct internal audits globally and provide direction as needed Serve as total company expert resource on quality systems, statistical techniques, and process improvements for both manufacturing and business processes Interface with customers and suppliers on a regular basis Provide Quality System training, where required for standardization of reporting opportunities Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related require with a minimum of five (5) years of directly-related work experience in the Quality field directly with Automotive. APQP Certification preferred Ability to manage and improve company-wide Quality Management Systems and Processes Progressive leadership development Practical experience in the application of quality assessment tools and techniques for process improvement (manufacturing and business processes) required Execution experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools Strong experience with statistical quality control techniques required Experience with and implementation of Poke Yoke methodology to solve problems Proficiency in statistics and SPC. Formal training in Total Quality Management (TQM), ISO 9000, and internal auditing required.
