Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Channel Program Enablement to join our Channel Management Team / HES Business Excellence Center .
In this role, you will work closely with the team lead to support and help execute strategic sales channel initiatives and partner ecosystem development to drive growth across Residential Solar TPO/Loan, Energy Services, and bundled Home Energy Solutions offerings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy, B2B channel development, energy service business, or solar finance , and will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as EnFin, Axia, and Residential Solutions, as well as external installation partners and developers. This position is based at our San Francisco Office (501 2nd Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, CA 94107).
Responsibilities
- Plan/Develop key channel initiatives (e.g., partner programs, sales campaigns) to drive growth across Finance, PV+ESS, and Energy Service products
- Expand strategic partnerships with builders, REPs, and national dealer networks to strengthen bundled sales and program adoption
- Establish and manage B2B and B2B2C channel programs targeting both new installations and retrofit markets
- Design and launch regional go-to-market plans in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Create frameworks for performance tracking, partner tiering, and KPI alignment to ensure scalable growth
- Support partner onboarding, education, and incentive alignment to strengthen Qcells' downstream presence
- Identify and foster strategic partnerships with Retail Electric Providers (REP), builders, and developers to enhance market penetration and product integration (e.g., PV+ESS solutions).
- This role requires a dynamic, solution-oriented mindset to drive Energy Service growth in Texas while aligning with Qcells’ broader energy strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, partner development, or commercial channel leadership
- Deep knowledge of clean energy markets and partner-led sales models (e.g., solar finance, retail energy, or DERs)
- Strong background in developing sales infrastructure, onboarding processes, and partner support programs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and deliver measurable results
- Advanced degree (MBA or related).
- Experience in national solar dealer management, third-party ownership (TPO) program scaling, or builder partnerships
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or partner success platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Understanding of incentive frameworks and policy dynamics in TX and CA residential energy markets
- Prior work with virtual power plant (VPP), SREC, or aggregator business models

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
