Title: Microsoft Fabric Architect
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Type: Long-Term W2
Job Description:
* Design and implement enterprise-wide Microsoft Fabric data platform solutions for analytics and reporting.
* Develop data lakehouse architectures integrating OneLake, data warehousing, and real-time analytics components.
* Create scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory, Dataflows, and Spark notebooks within Fabric.
* Establish data governance frameworks including security, access controls, and compliance across Fabric workspaces.
* Optimize performance of Power BI semantic models, data warehouses, and KQL databases.
* Lead migration strategies from legacy platforms to Microsoft Fabric unified analytics ecosystem.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical Fabric architecture designs.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Fabric workspace deployment and management.
* Provide technical leadership on Fabric capabilities including Copilot, ML, and real-time intelligence features.
* Mentor development teams on Fabric best practices, design patterns, and optimization techniques.
