We are seeking an expert marketing automation platform lead with experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) and with nurture email development and strategy who is highly passionate about the possibilities of marketing automation in driving optimized outcomes. Your experience in successfully orchestrating MCAE activities to generate demand, combined with your relentless pursuit of the exceptional will lead to improved efficiency, deeper insights and ultimately help BAL create a highly differentiated buying experience. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of marketing automation principles and the role marketing automation plays in organizational growth, and the ability to analyze business needs and translate them into MCAE functionality. Primary Responsibilities: Develop, build, and optimize customer journeys and campaigns in MCAE. Partner with stakeholders to develop personalization strategies, quantify, test and refine programs to maximize effectiveness. Collaborate with marketing, sales enablement and business development teams to align CRM and marketing automation strategies with business goals and enable us to effectively reach our target audience throughout the digital buying journey. Work closely with other team members and agencies to design and execute campaigns in MCAE, leveraging expertise in Engagement Studio, dynamic content, Salesforce Flow and other advanced features to drive impactful marketing initiatives. Optimize and manage lead scoring and grading models. Work collaboratively with content and design teams to optimize channel performance (email, social posts, etc.) based on data, content layouts, CTAs, etc. Recommend and implement marketing automation best practices within MCAE and Salesforce, including non-native integrations. Integrate MCAE/Salesforce with third-party tools like Google Analytics, Wordpress, Axios and other marketing tech stack components. Troubleshoot errors and identify and implement modifications to ensure automations function effectively and efficiently. Manage the flow of data between MCAE and Salesforce. Create and maintain documentation for MCAE processes and configurations. Provide training and support to users on MCAE functionalities. Monitor and analyze the technical performance of automations, campaigns and CRM activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Stay updated on the latest MCAE features and best practices, proactively implementing improvements to keep BAL ahead of the curve. Comply with departmental SOPs, ensuring operational excellence and consistency. Conduct digital industry and customer research to ensure BAL continues to offer the best digital client experience. Qualifications: Minimum of two years experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE). Preferred: 3-5 years of experience on a digital marketing team Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related major Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) expertise: In-depth knowledge of MCAE's features, functionalities and best practices. This includes understanding of email creation, dynamic content, forms, landing pages and Marketing Automation expertise: Deep understanding of marketing automation principles and strategies. Business Analysis: Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into MCAE functionality. This includes requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis. Data Analysis: Skills in analyzing and interpreting marketing data to make informed decisions. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence and Google Analytics and MCAE reporting is beneficial. Salesforce CRM Knowledge: Basic understanding of Salesforce CRM, especially how it integrates with MCAE. HTML & CSS: Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS is often required for creating and customizing web pages and email templates. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with marketing teams, IT departments and other stakeholders. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues, debug problems and find optimal solutions. Certification: Strongly prefer candidates with two or more Salesforce certifications, such as MCAE Specialist, MCAE Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst or analytics-related certifications. SQL: While not required, knowledge of SQL can be beneficial for data manipulation and reporting and is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with project management software (such as Wrike or Asana), Canva and Adobe is a plus. Eager to own hands-on implementation and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
