Responsible for management, direction, and coordination of the staff and activities of a comprehensive facilities and maintenance office; implements and oversees the Southern Nevada Health District’s (District) facilities maintenance and security activities and programs; serves as the primary facilities and security services resource and subject matter expert; provides responsible and complex administrative support to the District Health Officer (DHO) and Board of Health (BOH); and performs related duties as required. Education, Training, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in planning, business or public administration, architecture, engineering, management, or closely related field and six (6) years of relevant professional work experience involving the planning, construction, and maintenance of public buildings and facilities including a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible managerial experience. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in planning, business or public administration, architecture, engineering, management, or closely related field is preferred and may substitute for two (2) years of required experience. Valid Nevada driver’s license, or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment. Preferred Qualifications:
