The Supervisor, Network Services, is a key position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's network services. This role involves providing leadership to the network services team, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with other teams to maintain a secure and reliable network infrastructure. In this role you will: - Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the network services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. - Develop short- and long-term strategies for network growth and improvement - Create and manage network-related budgets and forecasts - Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency - Provide leadership to the network services team, including task assignment, training, and performance management. - Manage projects, tasks, and monitor progress/performance to ensure the team meets objectives and deadlines - Set the standard for accountability by engaging in the on-call rotation as a hands-on leader - Collaborate with technical teams to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. - Work cross-functionally with other IT teams, business units, and leadership - Serve as the point of contact for all network-related matters - Communicate technical issues and plans clearly to non-technical stakeholders" - Promote and enforce network security measures, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure. - Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers - Oversee procurement of networking hardware, software, and support services What you'll need to be successful: -Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology, Network Engineering, - 4 - 7 Years of experience prefered - The ideal candidate for the role of Network Services Supervisor should possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement to effectively manage and optimize network services within an organization. Required qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field. - 4+ years of experience in network engineering/administration, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership role - Experience with enterprise-grade network equipment (Cisco, Meraki, Arista, Fortinet) - Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and team development. - Solid project management and organizational capabilities - Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Strong financial acumen Preferred Certifications & Skills: - Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent - Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) - Experience leading large-scale network projects and managing cross-functional teams. - Background in both enterprise IT and operational technology (OT) environments. - Experience with Cloud networking (AWS, GCP) The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $87,600.00 - $103,100.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
