The Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations and plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture. This position is responsible for administering HR policies and procedures, supporting employee relations, assisting in talent acquisition, managing payroll processing, coordinating benefits and leave administration, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This is an onsite role. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits Maintain employee records in compliance with company policy and legal requirements Administer and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes Support recruitment efforts including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews Support performance management and employee development initiatives Assist with employee relations issues and workplace investigations Coordinate and administer benefits programs and open enrollment processes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Participate in HR projects, such as policy development, training, and process improvement Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field At least 3 years of experience in a generalist or HR-related role Knowledge of HR laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus Seniority level
