We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Payroll Systems Analyst to support our payroll operations through systems configuration, maintenance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will serve as the technical liaison between Payroll, HR, and IT, ensuring that payroll systems are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Payroll Systems Analyst to support our payroll operations through systems configuration, maintenance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will serve as the technical liaison between Payroll, HR, and IT, ensuring that payroll systems are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support payroll system configurations, workflows, and integrations (e.g., Workday , ADP , PeopleSoft , or other platforms).
- Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to troubleshoot system issues and implement process improvements.
- Conduct system testing and validation for upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using SQL or native reporting tools.
- Support payroll compliance and audits by ensuring system accuracy and appropriate data controls.
- Document business requirements, system changes, and process flows.
- Partner with IT and vendors to support system enhancements and data integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a payroll systems analyst or HRIS analyst role.
- Hands-on experience with a major payroll platform (e.g., Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft, Dayforce, UKG/Kronos).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and/or reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, Workday Reports).
- Understanding of payroll regulations, data security, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience supporting multi-state or global payroll environments.
- Knowledge of time and attendance systems and integrations.
- Experience participating in payroll system implementations or migrations.
