WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Our HRIS Administrator will be a key member of Human Resources andour subject matter expert on all things technology. In this position, you willmanage our HR systems and find innovative, efficient and creative ways tosupport all HR team members. Our current systems include our ERP, Infor, andCornerstone, our platform for applicant tracking and recruitment, learning andperformance management. You'll also be researching and recommending additionalsoftware programs that will make all of the important HR work easier and moreefficient. One of your most critical tasks will be auditing to ensure all ofour data is current, accurate and easily accessible to HR team members asneeded through reports and other tools.
A SAMPLE OF THE ESSENTIALS (DUTIES & TASKS): Provides guidance and data support to HR staff members as needed, ensuring end solutions meet requested expectations. Troubleshoots technical aspects of all HR software systems, working with outside vendors as needed to resolve issues as soon as possible. Analyzes and improves the current applicant tracking and recruitment system, Cornerstone, finding the most creative and efficient ways to use the system to streamline our talent acquisition process and improve the applicant experience. Serves as a subject matter expert and HR liaison on projects impacting HR systems. Conducts training for HR staff on utilization of current and new technology. Works with HR staff from all divisions to provide technology solutions to streamline and improve service to employees. Divisions include employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits and wellness, and safety and risk management. Provides a variety of standard and ad hoc reports and analysis for both internal HR customers and other Town departments as requested, ensuring data is accurate and reports are timely. Serves as the key liaison between the HR and IT teams to ensure HRIS solutions meet the functional needs of the organization. Customizes aspects of all HR systems as needed for improvement. Maintains security of systems while maintaining flexibility that allows HR staff members to have the access needed to be efficient and successful. Coordinates, tests, and troubleshoots integrations between HR systems and other internal or external systems and ensures validation of data between systems. Ensures proper functioning and regular maintenance of the HRIS, including processing employee updates, adjusting workflows, and managing employee self-service functionality. Maintains system documentation, process guides, and training materials. Uploads various data into systems. including but not limited to mass pay and leave changes. Ensures data integrity and follows quality control measures for data accuracy; verifies data input to the HRM systems and makes corrections when necessary; conducts frequent audits of data to ensure accuracy. Safeguards confidential information and sensitive data. Maintains a variety of files, records and reports in the Human Resources Department. Conducts industry specific research for HR metrics for benchmarking and comparisons and is the key staff member working with performance management metrics. Performs related duties as assigned. Strong skill in configuring various systems, building tables, etc. Strong skill in gathering and analyzing complex data. Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and pivot tables & reporting. Strong skill in managing multiple projects/tasks and shifting priorities. Strong ability to explain complicated technical information in a clear, simple and concise way that end users can understand. Strong ability to understand a variety of complex problems and generate creative solutions. Strong ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail. Strong ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of personnel records and discussions. Ability to work with employees at all levels within the organization. Knowledge of the human resources function and its impact on the organization. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Positionrequires a Bachelor's degree and aminimum of three (3) years of experience working with information systems, oran equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in human resources within a local government agency preferred. Experience with Infor and Cornerstone systems preferred.
