Building Automation Systems (BAS) & HVAC Technician
Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: $25-$30/hour
Are you an experienced technician skilled in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC technologies? This is your chance to work on cutting-edge control systems and energy-efficient solutions for a variety of commercial and industrial facilities.
What You'll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on energy management systems, including HVAC controls, chillers, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems.
- Conduct system upgrades, including valve, damper, and controller replacements.
- Provide technical expertise to optimize HVAC energy efficiency and develop control strategies.
- Deliver monthly reports on system performance, energy usage, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in developing and updating automation controls and BMS programming to enhance operational efficiency.
- Paid Training & Certification: Gain expertise in Johnson Controls Metasys.
- Diverse Projects: Work on complex systems like chiller plants, HVAC controls, and advanced automation technologies.

- Experience: 8+ years in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or Controls fields.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour and valid driver's license (Metasys factory training preferred).
- Physical Readiness: Able to lift/carry 50 lbs., work on ladders, and operate hand tools in various weather conditions.
- Problem-Solving & Independence: Strong ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service.
