What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Provide support for cardiology-focused clinical applications and imaging modalities - Collaborate closely with cardiology departments, clinical staff, and IT teams to optimize system performance - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cardiology systems and imaging technologies - Manage integration and interoperability of various healthcare IT systems (HL7, DICOM, IHE) - Document workflows and provide training for end-users on cardiology applications
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical IT environment, preferably within a cardiology or imaging department - Strong understanding of cardiology imaging modalities, including Echocardiography and Electrocardiography - Proficiency in application support and troubleshooting within healthcare IT - Experience with project management and workflow optimization - Familiarity with integration standards such as HL7 and DICOM
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Certifications such as GE Centricity or Muse Certification, Hyland OnBase or VNA Certification, or PACS Administration Certification (CIIP or equivalent) - ITIL Foundation or PMP certification - Experience with additional cardiology applications like ScImage PICOM or GE MAClab - Knowledge of nuclear cardiology workflows and advanced imaging modalities - Familiarity with stress testing systems and their integration with ECG and imaging technologies
