Position Summary Responsible for processing sections and stains of histology/cytology specimens. Education Certified and Senior Histology Tech: High School Diploma; Histology Certification Non Certified Histology Tech: High School Diploma Licenses and Certification Certified and Senior Histology Technician: Certification Non Certified Histology Tech: None Experience and Skills Senior Histology Technician and non-certified Histology Technician: 3 years Technical Experience Required Role Specific Responsibilities Enters test requests, collects and processes specimens. Assists the Pathologist.
