The Department of Art and Art History is looking for a work-study eligible, student worker to provide support for Stefanie Donley. The department of Art and Art History is a community of makers, scholars, and educators in the visual arts. The work study student will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our faculty and staff. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student to support daily operations in our department office. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks and serves as the first point of contact for visitors, making professionalism and strong communication skills essential. Responsibilities
Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible. Scan files and upload them to UT Box. Sort and distribute incoming mail. Take calls and messages, helping or directing to the correct person. Utilize office equipment such as photocopier/printer/scanner, computer, etc. Monitor stocks of office supplies (copy paper, toner, paper clips, etc.) and report when there are shortages. Help to maintain a clean and welcoming office suite. Hang event posters; keep bulletin boards updated. Run errands. Perform other office duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Must be eligible for Work Study Familiarity with office environments. Customer service experience. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and UT Box. Communication skills. Solid organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to work independently Career Competencies Gained:

This position is primarily sedentary and performed at a desk within an office environment. Occasional light physical activity is required, including lifting and carrying mail, packages, and reams of paper. Schedule Work Shift: 10-15 hours per week for shifts averaging 2-4 hours in length. Hours for this position will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer flexibility to accommodate academic and other work commitments.
