How You’ll Make An Impact
Analyze customer specifications and develop tailored proposals. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to define scope and pricing. Prepare cost estimates using drawings, layouts, and site data. Evaluate supplier quotations and summarize total project costs. Write and revise proposal documents and contract terms. Provide market insights to support strategic business development. Participate in meetings to clarify technical and commercial requirements. Support initiatives to improve proposal efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 2 to 5 years of experience in proposal development or cost estimating. Experience in the commercial and industrial power sector preferred. Strong understanding of transformers and electrical systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
