Major Duties
Lead and manage hrPRO initiatives by applying project management principles to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and effective collaboration with program leadership.
Provide expert technical guidance on complex hrPRO system issues including troubleshooting, performance analysis, and advanced problem resolution.
Mentor citizen developers and establish best practices for building and automating ServiceNow request forms and workflows using low-code/no-code platforms.
Develop and oversee dashboards and reporting tools to analyze performance data, identify trends, and support user adoption and system improvement.
Create and maintain training and support resources including knowledge articles and instructional content to empower users and streamline navigation of hrPRO systems.
Qualification Summary
To qualify for a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Advising on technical and functional operations of automated HR systems, ensuring alignment with policy and strategic objectives. Overseeing system enhancements and low-code/no-code workflow implementations, coordinating testing, deployment, and performance monitoring. Managing ongoing maintenance and user support for enterprise-level HR platforms, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques. Designing and maintaining data dashboards and reporting tools to support leadership decision-making and operational insight. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Compensation: $109,966-$156,755 per year
