A travel client based in Woodland Hills is seeking two DevOps Engineers to join their infrastructure and IT operations team. There will be a Senior DevOps Engineer and a Mid-level DevOps Engineer. The responsibilities are similar for both roles, but the Senior is expected to demonstrate more leadership and require less guidance, while the Mid-level will receive more hands-on support and mentorship. The role involves supporting a server migration project to a new Azure data center, along with upcoming projects such as vulnerability remediation and identification. The candidate will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, utilizing Ansible for configuration management and automation, and collaborating with development teams to embed DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle. The engineer will monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security (not necessarily as a security expert), and will implement CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment processes.
