Role: IMS cloud network test/lab engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Type: Contract
Job Description:
You will test and validate IMS network applications on private cloud platform. This includes end-to-end testing of voice and messaging services over 4G, 5G, and Wi-Fi. You’ll also assess system performance, reliability, and handle negative and load test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
Test IMS services like VoLTE, VoNR, SMS, and RCS across different access networks.
Validate cloud-based deployments using Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift.
Use tools like Wireshark, Netscout, and Landslide for network analysis.
Work with platforms from vendors like Mavenir, Nokia, and Ericsson.
Create test plans, schedules, and estimates.
Execute test cases, log defects, and perform root cause analysis.
Track testing progress and report results.
Ensure quality and coverage of testing.
Support automation and performance testing.
Collaborate with DevOps for continuous testing integration.
Key Skills
IMS/SIP signaling experience
4G/LTE and 5G SA network knowledge
Experience with lab testing procedures
Hands-on with network tools
Experience with Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift (OCP)
Experience with Core Network Platforms
