Position: Project Manager Clearance Required:
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Position Description Network Runners is seeking a
Project Manager
to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG). DHS (OIG) conducts independent audits, investigations, and inspections of DHS programs, recommending improvements for efficiency and effectiveness. The Office of Management (OM) and Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) handle technological hardware and software for OIG personnel.
This position is located at DHS OIG HQ – 395 E St. SW, Washington DC 20024.
Duties & Responsibilities
Organize, direct, and manage multiple, complex IT projects.
Manage teams of project support personnel and interface with senior OIG leadership, including the CIO.
Ensure timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules.
Meet with OCIO customers and staff to review task plans and deliverables, monitor project progress, and oversee completion.
Collaborate with the Contracting Officer, IT support staff, customers, and leadership.
Position Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager for a Federal Agency and/or a bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT- or business-related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project software.
Experience presenting project briefs to senior executives.
Experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies in the public sector.
