Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, independent, and client-oriented IT Project Manager to join our growing Professional Services team. In this role, youll lead the execution of client-facing infrastructure, onboarding, and cloud transformation projectsfrom initiation to deliveryensuring deadlines, budgets, and business goals are met.
This position is ideal for a proactive communicator with a passion for technology and project execution, who thrives in fast-paced, service-oriented environments.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to gather and define project requirements, outcomes, and success metrics. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and status reports. Lead the delivery of small to mid-sized infrastructure, M365, Azure, and onboarding projects. Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure project milestones are met. Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, weekly standups, and closure sessions. Manage project scope, track deliverables, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the engagement. Prepare and deliver clear, professional project documentation, updates, and communications. Partner with engineering leads to coordinate task assignments and validate timelines. Escalate issues proactively and serve as a communication bridge between technical and business stakeholders. Track project financials including labor effort, resource alignment, and margin protection. Ensure internal systems and documentation (SharePoint, ticketing platforms, PSA) are kept accurate and up to date.
Skills & Experience Required
23 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or onboarding projects, preferably in a client-facing environment. Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery across technical and business teams. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, resources, and external vendors. Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365, and modern IT ecosystems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Proficiency with Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project (or similar tools). Able to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects. Strong presentation skills and ability to lead internal and client-facing meetings. Must be a self-starter and problem-solver capable of working independently and in teams. Comfortable managing remote teams and resources across time zones. Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for cutovers and go-lives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP), IT consulting, or service-based IT environment. Familiarity with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools like HaloPSA, ConnectWise, or Autotask. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum frameworks). Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and infrastructure deployment best practices.
