Position: COBOL Developer/Programmer - Senior
Location: 501 N. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27604
Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:
- Experience developing/maintaining mainframe systems using COBOL, Easytrieve, JCL, and DB2
- Experience using secure FTP in a batch environment
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging mainframe applications
- Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies throughout the full system development lifecycle
- Experience working with TSO/ISPF, Z/OS, and PARMLIB configurations
- Ability to manage time and milestones independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Development and enhancement of applications based on design specifications
- Analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of application code
- Implementing configuration changes to meet functional and technical requirements
- Writing application software, data analysis, database design, programming, testing, and documentation
- Unit testing and developing system and user documentation
