ITmPowered Consulting . The Sr. Data Scientist will apply Data Science to enterprise Medical Device Cybersecurity, Network security, Attacks & Events. Leverage big data to support an enterprise-scale Medical Device Cybersecurity program spanning Risk Management, Cyber Digital Transformation, Threat Management, Network Security, End Point Security, IT Controls, Security Operations, and Identity and Data Management. This role provides strategic insights into Medical Device cybersecurity protection and network security improvement. Responsibilities
Analyze large datasets and develop statistical models to identify patterns and inform strategic decisions. Work with data from sources like Splunk, Qualys, CMDB, CyberArk, Armis, ForeScout, and others. Identify cybersecurity and machine learning opportunities such as threat detection, attack prediction, prevention, and response. Design and implement machine learning solutions using various algorithms including regression, clustering, Bayesian, and classification. Apply AI/ML techniques in supervised and unsupervised scenarios across network security, endpoint protection, and data in transit and at rest. Detect network attacks, anomalies, and classify encrypted traffic, contributing to forensic analysis and endpoint protection. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; Masters preferred. Experience with machine learning techniques like regression, classification, clustering, and graph algorithms. Proficiency in data science tools and languages such as R, Python, Spark, Hadoop, SQL. Hands-on experience with large data lakes and deploying data science models. Preferred Skills
Knowledge of cybersecurity, network security protocols, encryption, threat management, and IT controls. Logistics
Location: Denver, CO (remote with periodic office visits). No relocation. Must be a US citizen eligible for Top Secret clearance. Vaccination or exemption required. W2 employment only; no sponsorship. To apply, email your details to
