Security (IAM) Engineer Contract to Hire (US Citizens or GCs only) Location:
Tampa, FL Job Description: The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, designing technical architectures and processes, and implementing IAM product components, including customer SAML SSO integrations and internal IAM solutions. Gather use cases and analysis from business and technical stakeholders, documenting in formal requirements documents. Analyze integration requirements, propose strategies, document assumptions, and coordinate with supporting teams. Investigate and ensure complete technical and business requirements are received. Determine the best SSO approach and authentication methods. Configure PoC/development environments and coordinate testing. Provide design and technical documentation or examples for integration methods/tools. Ensure that additional load from large projects does not impact existing platforms. Resolve technical authentication issues and support less experienced staff. Work across project teams to optimize resource use by defining, documenting, and implementing security strategies, use case analyses, and secure authentication solutions. Develop architectural frameworks including application architecture, end-user access, hardware, software, and network environments, standards, and methodologies. Provide coaching and share technical and business knowledge as needed. Support internal users and staff during integration processes, investigating incidents and applying resolutions to ensure error-free authentication mechanisms. Research and facilitate the adoption of new authentication technologies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience with Federation Services and Single Sign-On technologies. 3+ years of experience with authentication security technologies such as F5 APM & Ping Federate. Knowledge of information security concepts and practices. Experience administering Windows server systems. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Excellent communication skills and user support ability. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Professional appearance and eagerness to learn.
