Job Description Requirement: Title: Senior Software Systems Engineer Location: Irving, TX Duration: 6 Months
Finance Data Lake is a strategic enterprise initiative to centralize all ERP and supply chain data into a Hadoop big data platform, enabling reporting, analytics, and self-service discovery capabilities.
Extensive experience with PeopleSoft ERP functional knowledge, including data structure and transactional relationships across modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management, Sourcing, Labor, and Time.
Experience in building PS queries, delivering complex analytics, metrics, and reports to meet evolving business requirements.
Experience with automated testing and reconciliation reporting is desirable.
Responsible for working with the Financial Data Lake team and business users on requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and UAT coordination.
Evaluate FDL related objects, analyze business processes, document solutions, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Experience with Agile processes, Jira, requirements analysis, design, development, integration testing, and UAT.
Plan, schedule, and conduct gap analysis sessions for analytics, metrics, and reports at an enterprise level.
Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for analytics and presentations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments with attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and guide team members.
Knowledge of Hadoop big data reporting and analytical tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Tableau, Excel) is a plus.
Qualifications include a 4-year degree. The vendor will supply a laptop with minimum 8GB RAM, Office 2010 or higher, and Symantec Endpoint Protection software.
