Job Description Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8
Experience: Minimum 2 years, with 1 year in specialty License: MO or Compact licensure required
Certifications: ARRT MR* ARRT R* BLS*
Must-Have: Level I trauma experience Previous travel experience (1st time travelers accepted with 2 years of Level I trauma experience) Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner experience Adult ICU, Pediatrics, and Adult Acute Care experience
Description: This position requires Level I trauma experience. Previous travel experience is preferred, but a first-time traveler with 2 years of Level I trauma experience will be considered. Candidates should have experience with Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner. The role involves working with adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care patients. A minimum of one year of BLS certification is required. ARRT or ARMRIT certification is mandatory. The position may involve floating to various areas as needed. Travelers must be prepared for potential weekend and holiday shifts. Experience in long-term acute care (LTAC) is preferred. Experience with moderate patient ratios is required. Charting experience with specified systems is also preferred. This position involves advanced imaging techniques and procedures in MRI. Candidates should have strong skills in various MRI imaging areas including abdomen, brain, and breast imaging. Patient demographics may range from neonates to geriatrics. Daily census typically includes an average of one patient per hour. Interdisciplinary support teams are available within the facility. Experience with special equipment relevant to MRI procedures is essential. Floating to various roles may be required. Overall, the candidate should demonstrate flexibility and readiness for diverse patient needs and environments.
