Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity In Fargo, ND
Sanford Health is looking for a board-certified/board-eligible infectious disease physician to join a respected practice in Fargo, ND. The provider team consists of six physicians supported by one advanced practice provider. Sanford Medical Center Fargo is a regional referral and Level I trauma center, offering exposure to a wide range of complex and challenging pathology including HIV, tuberculosis, zoonoses, infections in immunocompromised hosts, and complicated orthopedic and neurosurgical cases. The practice is 100% focused on infectious disease with a full spectrum of pathology. It includes consult service, outreach, and telemedicine. The call ratio is currently 1:6. There is a well-established, successful antibiotic stewardship program with dedicated infectious disease pharmacists. Weekly case conferences and monthly journal clubs are held. The affiliation with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine allows for teaching medical students, residents from various programs, and hematology/oncology fellows.
