Job Title: Senior Engineering Project Manager
Location: Coopersville, MIPay Rate: $110K-$135K
Travel Requirements: Up to 25%Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K
Job Purpose:We are seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution of capital projects from concept through commissioning. This position is responsible for driving initiatives that support processing and packaging equipment, infrastructure upgrades, and safety improvements. The ideal candidate will be a skilled project manager with a hands-on, collaborative approach, capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:n

- Lead capital projects end-to-end — from scope development through commissioning and validation n
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Plant Engineering, Operations, and external vendors to implement process improvements n
- Ensure project compliance with environmental, safety, and corporate standards n
- Support the planning and execution of the site's capital project portfolio n
- Provide technical guidance on systems related to processing, packaging, and facility infrastructure n
- Troubleshoot complex equipment/process issues and drive root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions n
Qualifications & Skills:n
- n
- 3–5+ years of project management or process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (Food & Beverage industry ) n
- Demonstrated success managing capital projects from design through start-up n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interfacing with both technical and non-technical teams n
- Practical experience with commissioning and troubleshooting automated equipment n
- Solid understanding of systems including PLCs, pumps, valves, actuators, and instrumentation n
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and electrical schematics n
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field () n
- Experience with packaging and processing equipment in a manufacturing setting n
- Strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities n
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment n
