As an Engineering Manager for the Platform Team, you will play a critical role in scaling our engineering foundations, optimizing developer productivity, and driving platform reliability. You will lead a team of talented engineers focused on infrastructure, internal tooling, CI/CD, observability, and overall platform stability.
This role requires a balance of technical depth, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to ensure our platform supports the company's growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of platform engineers
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Ensure adherence to best practices in infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering
Own the architecture, performance, and security of core platform services
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling to enhance productivity
Champion DevOps, SRE, and automation practices for greater operational efficiency
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure system scalability and reliability
Establish SLAs, monitoring, and observability strategies to minimize downtime
Communicate technical roadmaps and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
Stay current with industry trends and modern technologies for potential implementation
Requirements:
5+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
Background in backend or infrastructure engineering (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and developer productivity improvements
Familiarity with scalable system design, microservices, and cloud- architectures
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering talent
Strong balance of technical expertise and business acumen
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
