A law firm seeks an experienced Energy Attorney to join its team in Devon, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy law, including experience with regulatory compliance, transactions, and advisory work. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex and evolving energy sector matters in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Duties: Advise clients on energy-related regulatory compliance, transactions, and policy matters. Assist with structuring and negotiating energy sector contracts, including power purchase agreements and joint venture agreements. Provide strategic legal guidance on matters related to renewable energy, energy infrastructure, and utilities. Conduct legal research and analysis related to energy laws, policies, and industry trends. Represent clients in regulatory proceedings before federal and state agencies. Draft and review energy-related agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop solutions to energy-related legal challenges. Requirements: Experience in energy law, including regulatory compliance, energy transactions, and advisory work. Strong understanding of the energy sector, including renewable energy, utilities, and infrastructure. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, actionable advice to clients. Excellent negotiation skills and experience drafting energy-related agreements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Strong academic background. Certifications: Admission to the state bar, with preference for applicants licensed in Pennsylvania or seeking admission. Skills: Knowledge of energy laws, regulations, and industry practices. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
