Staff Psychiatrist, Employed, Adult inpatient, teaching opportunity Nonprofit behavioral Health care facility which helps individuals and families suffering from emotional, behavioral, and chemical dependency problems by focusing on healing for damaged emotions, mind and spirit and tough lives and relationships is seeking an adult staff psychiatrist. Join a supportive and dedicated administration and medical staff who believe in the inherent resiliency of the human spirit and the capacity not only to recover but also to experience new growth and potential, dedicated to the stabilization and treatment of individuals suffering with acute mental illness and/or substance abuse issues. Staff psychiatrist has a full complement of support staff including Nurse Practitioners, LPNs, Social Worker, Certified Recreation Therapist, Psychologist And administrative staff. The adult inpatient unit is designed for men and women, ages 18 - 54, who are in crisis and suffering from psychiatric and/or substance abuse problems. Opportunities to expand inpatient services and programs and develop specific outpatient programs and services available. Group also offer a short-term geriatric inpatient program that treats and improves the lives of elders, age 55 and older. The unit is specifically designed to care for the unique needs of the geriatric patient suffering from behavioral, psychiatric, and/or substance abuse problems. Opportunities to expand inpatient services and programs and develop specific outpatient programs and services also available. Position offers a competitive salary with potential for annual bonus. Call 1 in 5 for inpatient and emergency call Opportunity for teaching.
