looking for a detail-oriented
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
to join our dynamic warehouse team in Hialeah
Gardens, FL 33018. This opportunity pays $18/hr., on W2 with 3-months contract and has a potential to be permanent . In this fast-paced role, you'll ensure accurate receipt and shipment of products using RF technology while helping maintain inventory integrity. If you thrive in a warehouse environment and enjoy a blend of organization and physical activity, this is the opportunity for you.
Shift Detail: Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch) Dress Code: Pants, shirt, and steel toe shoes or boots are required during all working hours. Required PPE (i.e. steel toe shoes, etc.): Steel toe boots
Responsibilities Verify inbound shipments and match them with purchase orders Inspect packaging to ensure products are intact and properly packed Use RF scanner to log and track inventory movement Perform quality checks to verify order accuracy Add/subtract quantities using basic math to ensure correct shipments Handle materials up to 50 lbs. safely and efficiently
Qualifications Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred Comfortable with handheld RF scanning devices Basic math skills (addition/subtraction of units) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina to handle lifting and standing for extended periods
