Title: IBM MQ Architect (Automation & Scripting) Location: Dallas, TX(onsite) Duration : Long term Primary Skillset: Develop automation scripts using tools such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Develop, test, deploy automation scripts for MQ Patching and upgrades Complying with IaC Responsibilities: Build scripts, test and deploy using client's release management process and/or deployment process for MQIPT routing Collaborate with application teams to define messaging requirements and ensure best practices for integration. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in MQ environments, including message flow, connectivity, and security. Develop, test, and deploy necessary configuration for health check of MQ systems for any new or existing servers. Stay up-to-date with the latest IBM MQ versions, features, and industry trends. 8+ years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ/MQIPT Strong background in MQ architecture, administration, clustering, and tuning. Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, etc.). Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-based MQ deployments (AWS MQ, Azure, IBM Cloud). Solid understanding of messaging concepts (JMS, topics/queues, pub/sub, etc.). Strong troubleshooting skills with experience analyzing MQ logs and dumps. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Preferred Skills: IBM Certified MQ Administrator or MQ Developer certifications. Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect. Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms. ITIL, Agile/Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
