A leading, award winning design practice is seeking an Interior Designer with 6+ years of experience on healthcare, cultural, educational, or other institutional work. The studio is known for context-driven architecture and interiors that pair crafted detail with innovative materials across residential, hospitality, civic, and commercial sectors. You will help translate design concepts into fully resolved interiors on a flagship institutional commission, then move on to future assignments ranging from residential developments to cultural and educational projects. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with senior designers to evolve the project’s design narrative into clear, buildable interior solutions. - Produce and manage detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents. - Plan efficient, user-centered space layouts that balance function, comfort, and accessibility. - Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate interiors with the wider building design. - Select and specify finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and equipment that meet aesthetic and performance goals. - Verify compliance with codes, life-safety, and accessibility standards. - Guide junior designers and interns, ensuring deliverables meet studio quality standards. Qualifications - Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture. - Minimum 6 years in an interior design or architecture firm, with demonstrable work on educational, civic, or healthcare interiors. - Strong design acumen, technical proficiency, and ability to juggle deadlines in a fast-paced setting. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an enthusiasm for collaborative studio culture. Software - Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; strong graphic presentation skills required. - Base salary range:
