Orthodontic Assistant

What You'll Do:
With the support of the Practice Manager and Clinic Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day flow of the clinic by:
Seating patients promptly and prepping for orthodontic procedures Placing separators, wires, elastic chains, and prepping teeth for bonding or Invisalign attachments Monitoring and coaching patients on oral hygiene Assisting the orthodontist and anticipating their needs during procedures Taking X-rays, CBCT scans, iTero scans, and impressions Charting patient notes and scheduling follow-up appointments Communicating clearly with parents about treatment plans and answering questions Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, well-stocked clinical environment Performing daily/weekly clinical side tasks as assigned Attending daily huddles and staff meetings Reporting any equipment issues to the Practice Manager What We're Looking For:
Someone with a sense of urgency and a "team-first" attitude Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and clinical knowledge A professional who is proactive, dependable, and committed to excellent patient care Requirements
At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is required (orthodontics preferred) be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude possess great understanding of dental terminology have excellent communication and written skills have excellent public relations skills work well with patients and team be experienced in delivering high-level customer service Committed to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
