Job Description:

The Client is seeking an experienced

Senior Java Developer

to join its team to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level web applications. The developer will work onsite in Harrisburg, PA, and must be located within an hour of the worksite.

The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, SOA architecture, and full-stack development, including front-end technologies like VueJS and NodeJS.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop secure, scalable Java/J2EE web applications. Build and implement SOA-based services using BPEL orchestration, Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM), and Oracle Identity Manager (LDAP). Develop RESTful and SOAP Web Services using Spring Web Services. Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Optimize performance through thread management, distributed deployment strategies, and garbage collection tuning. Work with WebLogic and Tomcat application servers. Integrate with Oracle databases using JDBC, OpenJPA, Hibernate, and PL/SQL. Utilize development tools such as Eclipse, JDeveloper, Spring Suite, Git, and Ant. pply SOA governance principles and reusable module design. Collaborate with team members to deliver quality code within project timelines. Required Skills:

8+ years of hands-on experience with

Java/J2EE

technologies. Experience with

VueJS ,

NodeJS ,

WebSphere Application Server ,

Hibernate ,

Spring , and

Oracle . Strong knowledge of

SOAP

and

RESTful Web Services ,

XML ,

XSLT ,

XPath ,

XQuery . Experience with

SOA architecture , design patterns, and integration frameworks. Proven SQL and PL/SQL programming experience. Experience with

build tools

(Git, Ant) and

security frameworks

(Web Service Security, Java Security). Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and version control systems. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with

WebLogic ,

Unix/Linux scripting ,

B2B integrations . Familiarity with configuration management and source control tools like SVN, ClearCase, and Visual SourceSafe. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. bility to lead development activities and mentor junior developers.
