Job Description
NOTE: We are seeking strong Java developers with extensive experience developing for MS SQL Server back-end, including writing complex queries and creating joins in MS SQL. This experience must be clearly reflected on the candidate's resume. Candidates must be within a 3-4 hour drive of Orlando, FL ONLY. The candidate's SQL skills need to be well represented on their resumes; without this, we cannot consider them. Position: Java/SQL Developer REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years Java programming experience 3+ years development using Microsoft SQL Server, including:
Strong experience writing complex queries in MS SQL Experience creating multiple types of joins in MS SQL
DESIRABLE SKILLS: Ability to accurately identify scope of work and prepare detailed schedule estimates Experience designing, programming, and testing complex n-Tier applications Ability to produce clear technical documentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field Proactive problem-solving and initiative-taking skills Quick learner of new concepts, both technical and business-related Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments effectively Experience in the restaurant or food services industry Experience developing or maintaining POS systems, preferably using Java Experience with Spring and Apache CXF
