We are seeking a Human Resources Benefits and Compensation Specialist with a strong desire to learn, excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. The role involves assisting employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries, managing insurance billing, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with benefit notices, and administering compensation programs. The salary range is $75,000-$85,000 annually. Responsibilities Include
Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), wellness, COBRA) Conduct benefits orientations and open enrollment, manage vendor relationships, update benefits systems Maintain benefits files and ensure accurate HRIS updates Assist with benefit claims, vendor communications, and billing verification Handle unemployment and workers' compensation claims, ensure compliance and proper documentation Prepare employee reports, manage benefits reporting, and distribute notices Develop and maintain compensation structures, manage bonus programs, and analyze pay equity Monitor wage trends, support pay increase cycles, and ensure regulatory compliance Collaborate with HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and managers on compensation matters Other duties as assigned Requirements
3-5 years of experience in benefits and compensation administration Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred Knowledge of applicable laws and programs Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Physical Qualifications
Ability to lift five pounds or more Sitting for up to 90% of the day Mobility, bending, and reading comprehension as needed Effective communication skills Ability to operate a computer and complete a 40-hour workweek This position is full-time with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, holidays, and 401(k) with match.
