Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit group of 10 physicians and 12 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Brockton Hospital. We have a dedicated site coordinator to help maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our clinical performance nurse assists in delivering an exceptional patient care experience. Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible physician assistant. Over two years of acute care experience preferred. Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for day shifts, and 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM for swing shifts. Key Responsibilities:
Rounding on approximately twelve patients per shift and discharging when appropriate; swing clinicians handle about eight admissions. The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7; procedures are not required. Contribute to rapid response and code teams; all team members are certified in BLS and ACLS, with intensivists taking over codes. Team communication over lunch to address concerns and updates. We welcome candidates for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts. Use Meditech and have access to internal informatics platforms. Living and Working in Brockton
