The Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) Center for Quantitative Cancer Imaging (CQCI) at the University of Utah is seeking applicants for Research Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position will support an expanding radiotheranostics program at the Center for Quantitative Cancer Imaging that includes two cGMP cyclotron/radiochemistry laboratories, two state-of-the-art digital PET/CT scanners, one full ring digital CZT SPECT/CT scanner, and a preclinical imaging laboratory that includes small animal SPECT/CT and PET/MRI. Performs clinical and research diagnostic imaging and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures to assist the nuclear medicine physicians, radiologists, and scientists in the Center for Quantitative Cancer Imaging (CQCI), while adhering to all radiation safety policies and functioning as a liaison between the patient and physician. Perform study coordination to support imaging clinical trials. Perform image processing and analysis to support imaging response assessment in therapeutic clinical trials. Perform preclinical imaging studies in compliance with AAALAC, IACUC, and other regulatory requirements. Support all research activities and services CQCI. NMTCB (CNMT and/or PET) and ARRT RT certification, and a Basic Life Support Provider card or are required within one month of hire.
