Project Manager Salary:
Competitive package Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This senior management role is fully responsible for the financial (P&L) and overall management of one or more large civil construction projects. The Project Manager has final authority over major project decisions. Plan and execute civil construction projects according to requirements and standards. Ensure project quality control, including design reviews for compliance. Create and maintain project documentation and correspondence. Prepare reports for upper management. Collaborate with field management to resolve issues during project execution. Approve equipment and personnel changes. Stay informed about project progress. Make final decisions on project issues. Know when to escalate issues to upper management. Organize project staff and assign roles. Conduct weekly project meetings. Manage project budget and ensure margins. Ensure accurate reporting of labor, equipment, and costs. Monitor financial performance and submit projections. Handle payment requisitions and change orders. Maintain thorough understanding of contract terms. Represent Thalle at project meetings with owners and engineers. Document change conditions and notifications. Maintain accurate site records and communicate delays or extensions. Prepare and initiate claims if needed. Protect company interests and resolve conflicts professionally. Understand project schedule and milestones, update monthly. Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers. Oversee subcontractor performance and site safety protocols. Education and Work Experience Requirements:
BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Professional licenses and contractor certifications preferred. 8-10 years of project engineering and management experience. Experience managing large diameter pipe projects (>32 inches). Proficiency in Primavera, Viewpoint, HCSS Heavy Bid. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple large projects. Leadership and organizational skills. Experience as a Project Manager on similar projects. Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential functions safely and successfully. Maintain punctual attendance. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Effective communication skills.
