GIS Technician
We have an immediate need for a GIS technician with our client who is a leader in the Utility industry. Any experience with electric utility GIS work would be ideal for this role. Candidates should have experience using a mixture of GIS related softwares such as ArcFM, Esri Arc GIS Pro, Python, and AutoCAD. This role will create, query, and update databases (SQL, Oracle, MS Access). Candidates will need to have an analytical approach to problem solving. The role will require candidates to perform spatial analysis and for candidates to be familiar with data manipulation techniques. Required: 2 plus years of GIS work Ability to perform spatial analysis Experience Using GIS related software (such as: ArcFM, Esri ArGIS Pro, AutoCAD, & Python) Preferred: Bachelors Degree in GIS Highly Preferred Associates Degree or Certificate in GIS Electric Utility GIS Technician Experience Centralized GIS Technician Experience Junior level candidate encouraged to apply (2-3 yrs).
