About the Role This role involves ensuring a warm and welcoming customer experience, optimizing lead management, qualifying customer needs, designing kitchen and bath plans, and maintaining necessary paperwork. Responsibilities Ensure customer walk-in experience is warm and welcoming through prompt acknowledgment, helpful approach, and well-maintained displays and work areas. Turn shoppers into customers. Optimize Lead Management by cultivating relationships with customers who ask for you by name, building your professional portfolio, and marketing yourself to grow your business. Contribute to the growth and profitability of our employee-owned company. Qualify customers to understand needs, uncover and overcome objections, and provide fitting solutions. This includes identifying purchase phases—dreaming, pricing, designing, and purchase—and guiding customers confidently through each stage. Establish strategies to position yourself as the expert and HPM as the vendor of choice, offering a retainer commitment. Ensure seamless customer onboarding, making it easy for clients to work with HPM. Sell expectations and educate customers on products, explaining the best value for look, quality, and features at different price points. Record contact details in the customer relationship management system for targeted marketing and reporting. Design kitchen and bath plans to customer specifications using the 2020 design program. Prepare timely and accurate quotations in BisTrack, present to customers for approval, and update as needed. Maintain necessary paperwork, such as obtaining signatures, customer files, and order documentation. Work with vendors and the merchant team to order products and follow up on deliveries. Continuously expand product knowledge and professional growth to speak knowledgeably about offerings and trends, building leads. Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the company. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Required Skills Knowledge of the construction process from start to finish preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, proactive customer care, and the ability to anticipate needs. Clear and concise communication skills, with prompt responses to emails and calls within 24 hours. Ability to build strong relationships within teams and understand internal processes. Proven ability to convert prospects into customers. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities. Demonstrated growth mindset and eagerness to learn. Ability to understand how parts fit together, replicating designs from components. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a customer-facing role. Intermediate computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office. Experience with sales, project planning, and 2020 design software is a plus.
