We're looking for an exceptional Store Director to join our retail organization and lead our store to new heights in the East Detroit Market. As a Store Director, you'll shape the customer experience, steer operational excellence, and foster a vibrant team culture. Responsibilities include overseeing retail team members at all levels to ensure the best shopping experience, managing the total operation of the store, and ensuring standards in customer service, operations, and merchandising are met. Developing a team that meets productivity and customer service goals is essential. Provide excellent customer service. Mentor and coach team members and leaders. Ensure proper staffing and professional development. Maintain safety and regulatory procedures. Cultivate community relationships to support the Meijer brand. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience. 5 years of retail/service industry experience. 3 years of leadership experience managing teams. Experience with retail sales of $40 million or more annually. Ability to obtain necessary licenses. Physical ability to perform lifting, carrying, etc.
