OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Colorado Springs, CO We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position near Colorado Springs, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for a flexible schedule while providing essential care in both clinical and on-call settings. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering the chance to make a significant impact on patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including both obstetrics and gynecology, in a clinic setting. Manage 12 exam rooms with support from a well-trained office ancillary staff, including 1:1 MA coverage, a sonographer, three front desk personnel, and a surgical scheduler. Perform and oversee lab tests and ultrasounds, working closely with the onsite lab and ultrasound technicians. Handle 24-hour call duties from 7:00 AM Sunday to 7:00 AM Monday, with varying callback percentages: Weekdays : 2% Weekends : 5% OB : 20% GYN : 80% Utilize EMR systems for documentation in both clinic and hospital settings, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Schedule and Details: Clinic Hours : Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM 4:30 PM Friday: 9:00 AM 3:30 PM 24-Hour Call : Sunday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM. Location : Near Colorado Springs, CO. Start Date : ASAP. End Date : Ongoing, through August 2025. Practice Setting : Outpatient clinic and hospital call. Worksite Resources : Onsite lab, ultrasound performed by tech, 12 exam rooms, and a robust office ancillary staff. Competitive compensation with an hourly rate. Qualifications: Required : Board-Certified OB/GYN with active Colorado state license. Certifications : ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.
