Job Summary The Vice President of Data Analytics and Services will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will provide strategic, architectural, and operational leadership for TriWest’s enterprise data function. This leader will oversee data acquisition, integration, operational application and analytics data solutions, database design, development, and administration. They will manage teams of data architects, data integrators, data developers, and data infrastructure engineers. The Vice President is responsible for setting strategic direction for data systems, ensuring data quality and integrity, and bringing a modern architectural vision to enable scalable data management and interoperability across systems. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Financial Systems, or related fields U.S. Citizenship Ability to receive a favorable DoD background investigation 10 years’ relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data services 7 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering advanced analytic projects Experience providing executive-level leadership in data-driven organizations 7 years’ experience with complex SQL in SQL Server or Oracle environments Experience in healthcare or health insurance organizations with EDI processes Experience with data-oriented SDLC for ETL, reporting, or app development Experience with metadata and data quality management solutions Experience with BI and analytics solutions like Tableau Proven track record of solving large-scale data analytics problems Experience with Agile methodologies Knowledge of data governance practices Preferred Master’s Degree in related fields Experience with Tableau Server and Desktop Experience implementing master data management solutions Experience developing data governance practices Experience with EDIFCS healthcare claims datasets Strong technical skills in ETL, SQL, data manipulation, database tuning, and administration Key Responsibilities Lead data operations, governance, and enterprise information management projects Define and communicate enterprise data strategy and architecture Implement data operating models ensuring service consistency and data integrity Support project management and oversee data assets management Develop and implement BI architecture plans Provide analytical solutions for insights and reporting Define data architecture considering current and emerging technologies Drive enterprise data architecture modernization Work with leaders to define KPIs and drive decisions using data Oversee enterprise BI applications and reporting tools Lead data governance forums ensuring compliance and risk management Establish best practices for data quality and management Build and develop a talented data organization Develop technical and product roadmaps for data technologies Partner with IT and business leaders to develop a unified analytics strategy Evaluate emerging data technologies and trends Enable data usability and drive digital transformation Leverage analytics to guide business decisions and opportunities Competencies Coaching / Training / Mentoring Commitment to Task Communication / People Skills Computer Literacy Creativity / Innovation Independent Thinking / Self-Initiative Information Management Leadership Organizational Skills Problem Solving / Analysis Team-Building / Team Player Technical Skills Working Conditions Availability for non-regular hours as needed Standard office environment with limited travel Prolonged computer work and sitting Company Overview Taking Care of Our Nation’s Heroes.
