Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead MuleSoft + AWS Engineer to oversee the development and integration of enterprise-grade solutions using MuleSoft and AWS cloud services.
This role involves leading migration efforts, designing scalable microservices, and managing cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in MuleSoft, AWS, and modern DevOps practices, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Lead migration projects from Mule 3 to Mule 4. Implement API-led connectivity and manage the full API lifecycle using MuleSoft. Develop and optimize DataWeave transformations and MuleSoft best practices. Architect and deploy scalable microservices-based applications. Utilize AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for cloud infrastructure and application management. Oversee data architecture, including storage, processing, and analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system performance and scalability. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Ensure compliance with security and performance standards across platforms. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Extensive experience with MuleSoft, including migration, API design, and DataWeave. MuleSoft MCD (Mule 4) Certification required. Proficiency in AWS cloud services and microservices architecture. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft MCD Certification in API Design or Integration Professional. Experience with Mule Run-time Fabric. Prior experience in the insurance industry or similar domains. Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Sumologic, or NewRelic. Certifications
