As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking technology - Deposits Platform, you play a vital role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. As a key technical contributor, you are tasked with implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic goals. The role involves executing creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches. You'll be developing secure high-quality production code, reviewing and debugging code written by others, and identifying opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues to improve overall operational stability. You'll be working within the Consumer & Community Banking Group, which depends on innovators to serve consumers, small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. The team is focused on developing and delivering cutting-edge mobile applications, digital experiences and next generation banking technology solutions. The position requires 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development, specifically using Java and spring-based technologies in AWS / Cloud environment. You'll need strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices, as well as expertise in working with APIs.
