Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst with a strong background inasset management to join our team in NYC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data governance frameworks, data quality, and compliance processes, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business teams to define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with asset management data requirements and regulatory frameworks.
Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to maintain high-quality, consistent, and trusted data.
Facilitate data lineage documentation and data quality monitoring.
Conduct data analysis to support governance initiatives.
Support adoption and usage of Microsoft Purview for metadata management (preferred
Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a Data Governance Analyst, preferably in the asset management domain.
Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality concepts.
Experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements, preparing documentation, and facilitating stakeholder discussions.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to asset management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Microsoft Purview is a plus.
