Overview
*The EDI Analyst* will be responsible for supporting the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) file processes for U.S.-based insurance carriers. This position primarily supports the *PlanSource* platform and works closely with the internal EDI team to ensure all file configurations and transmissions meet carrier requirements.

Experience with other HRIS or benefits administration systems—such as *bSwift* or *Employee Navigator*—is a *plus but not required*. While the role does not involve direct communication with clients or brokers, the Analyst may collaborate with carriers and is expected to work effectively with internal PES team members to ensure accurate and timely file delivery.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Collaborate with the internal EDI & Case Build team to support renewals, file updates, and ongoing system changes. * Review and validate EDI data files for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies. * Maintain file configurations in PlanSource based on carrier specs and internal documentation. * Support implementation and testing of new EDI connections. * Monitor daily file transmissions and proactively flag transmission issues for resolution. * Assist in troubleshooting errors and making necessary updates to production feeds. * Work with carriers, as needed, to confirm file formats or address technical questions during implementation. * Maintain clear documentation of file specs, updates, testing results, and resolution notes. * Ensure alignment with established processes and service standards set by the internal EDI leadership team.
*Qualifications:*
* 3+ years of experience working in PlanSource with a strong focus on EDI file builds (834) * Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset * Ability to balance daily tactical work with long-term process improvement efforts * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Preferred Skills:*
* Familiarity with other benefits administration systems and EDI formats * Experience using project or ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Monday, Zendesk) * Working knowledge of benefits administration and carrier data exchange requirements
