Title: Information Security Analyst
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
Scope of Responsibilities:
Manage security across multiple IT functional areas including data compliance, systems and network administration, security operations, and incident response.
Assist in developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures, such as:
User log-on and authentication rules
Security breach escalation protocols
Security auditing practices
Firewall and encryption procedures
Prepare reports and develop security risk analysis and response plans.
Investigate and remediate alerts generated by security tools.
Administer and monitor security tools and reports.
Review and investigate security violations and exceptions.
Maintain and document security controls and configurations.
Participate in security evaluations of vendor products and services.
Provide support and guidance to business and IT teams on security matters.
Educate IT and business staff on security policies and best practices.
Represent the organization’s security needs in all IT initiatives and projects.
Apply knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data compliance regulations, systems/network security, and incident response protocols.
About the Role
Role Level:
Intermediate professional level
May serve as a project team member or lead on small to large-scale security initiatives
Tackles complex security issues and works independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
Certification: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
