He or she will assist the pharmacy manager in motivating subordinates to execute the mission of MCR Health while abiding by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and MCR Health rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. While on duty, he/she will execute day-to-day operations, programs, and standards. JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, Sr. Manager of Pharmacy Operations, and/or Sr. Director of Pharmacy, responsible for the full practice of pharmacy in accordance with applicable regulatory statutes and accreditation standards; interpreting prescription orders; packaging, labeling dispensing, administering, and distribution of drugs and devices while covering shifts at a particular MCR Health pharmacy site • The staff pharmacist will assist the pharmacy manager by successfully operating the store location as defined in Florida DPR Statute #465.018, and other requirements as defined in Statutes 465, 21s, 893, plus applicable DEA requirements • Deliver exceptional pharmacy patient care experience to every patient every time • Communicate and collaborate with the Pharmacy manager for continuous improvement and ensure completion of all delegated tasks and duties • Other duties or initiatives that may be assigned SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: • Active Listening with compassion to resolve pharmacy issues • Writing clearly and descriptively to report departmental issues, suggestions, and/or resolutions • Oral Expression with empathy and compassion to assist with resolving patient, employee, and departmental needs • Critical/Strategic Thinking for best practices and improved outcomes • Problem Solving to ensure patient and employee satisfaction • Impact and Influence others to improve work productivity and patient outcomes • Customer Service Focus to impact the patient experience and employee retention • Carry out assigned duties as delegated by the Pharmacy Manager for the location. REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES: • Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university required • Current and valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Florida required • Certified to Administer Immunizations as expressed on the Pharmacist License required • Current and valid CPR/BLS certification required • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist-preferred • Community or retail pharmacy experience- preferred Seniority level
